The bathroom furniture was fully custom-made to utilise every centimetre under the sloping wall, finished with a Villeroy & Boch surface-mounted washbasin and Grohe taps....
A timeless bathroom where nothing distracts the eye—that was the goal of this renovation in Geluwe, near Kortrijk. Carefully chosen materials and colours give the room a stylish, calm appearance, and the sloping walls were not an obstacle but the starting point for clever bespoke solutions.
The bathroom furniture was fully custom-made to utilise every centimetre under the sloping wall, finished with a Villeroy & Boch surface-mounted washbasin and Grohe taps. Along the sloping wall, we installed a seamless bespoke bath that flows perfectly into the shower, in the exact same material and colour (RAL 1013). The shower was fitted with a comfortable bench and a custom glass screen.
The bath, walls and shower were finished seamlessly in polyester (Polycoat) in RAL 1013. Polycoat is a glass-fibre reinforced polyester and is 100% waterproof: because the bath and shower form one seamless unit, there are no joints or transitions where dirt or mould can build up. The warm, dark brown click vinyl flooring from Quick-Step contrasts beautifully with the light, sleek finish, and the whole space remains effortlessly beautiful.
