No more joints to scrub, resulting in a bathroom that is ready whenever you are: that is what this renovation in Lauwe was all about. The Bostoen family wanted to transform their outdated bathroom into a space that matches the rest of their renovated home: calm, warm and hassle-free.
The wedge-shaped space required a clever layout. The bath made way for a spacious walk-in shower with a comfortable bench, so you can enjoy a relaxing shower again instead of feeling cramped. A bespoke cabinet in Unilin Robinson Oak Light Natural brings warmth and storage space, while the existing door and ceiling were retained. This means less demolition and more budget for what really matters. The brassware is by Hansgrohe (rain shower and washbasin) and the toilet is by Villeroy & Boch.
The shower zone was given a seamless finish in polyester (Polycoat) in soft RAL 9001. Polycoat is a glass-fibre reinforced polyester and 100% waterproof: no joints where dirt and mould can settle, and its elasticity ensures the finish remains crack-free for years. This eliminates scrubbing between tiles. That time goes to your family, not to your bathroom.
The result is a sleek, accessible bathroom that effortlessly keeps up with the family. Are you considering a seamless renovation yourself in Lauwe, the Kortrijk region (West Flanders) or the surrounding area?

Absolutely! A Voegloze Badkamer is finished in Polycoat, a glass-fibre reinforced polyester. So, a polyester bathroom or a bathroom in polyester is exactly what we create: seamless, 100% waterproof, and minimal maintenance.
Yes, thanks to the seamless Polycoat finish, there are no joints where dirt or mould can accumulate. A quick wipe is all it takes, so you spend less time cleaning.
Certainly, in this renovation in Lauwe, the wedge-shaped space required a clever layout with a spacious walk-in shower instead of a bath. The seamless finish also makes such a space calmer and optically larger.
